"Now It's Time To Say Goodbye..."
Well the party's been over for a couple of weeks,
but the Twentieth Anniversary Of Walt Disney World's
Fifteenth Birthday Celebration Committee (TAOWDWFBCC)
wanted to ding-a-ling your email bell one last
time to tell everyone what a swell time we
had -- not only with those folks that turned out,
but also with just talking with all of you guys again
after all these years! It is clear that we share a special
bond of friendship that time cannot erase. We achieved
the most important of our goals: putting together a fairly
complete list of contacts, hosted both remote and local
party gatherings, and caught a mellow buzz by the Gulf.
(We closed down the Ikky WooWoo Tiki Bar both Friday
and Saturday nights!) We also managed to keep J.R. away
from the grill, developed a magnificent blog site, produced
some t-shirts, and took loads upon loads of pictures. Sure
we've all gone back to our dreary lives now, but anytime
we want to relive the Rum Runners, the swimming to the
buoy, the wearing of menus on heads at a fancy restaurant,
or the good times of a picnic at Turkey Lake Park while
kids chased the ducks... it is all just a click away, thanks
to the Internet.
Here are the links you should bookmark so that we are
never that far away:

comments are encouraged by one and all)

Now that the first reunion is history, there is lots of
talk about doing it again soon. There are even rumblings
about how the '89 ELMO is currently in the planning stages.
(The consensus is that the majority of today's golf management
community in central Florida has forgotten our past transgressions
and may misguidedly welcome our little event with open
arms. Woo hoo!) So look for more fun down the pike, and
join in to help if you feel like it.
It was fun! Thanks for playing along. We'll do it again
sometime. See you in the funny papers!
